OUR STORY
With 20 years’ experience working abroad South Africans, Karen and Peter Dickens, thought enough is enough and decided to set up home in South Africa’s Hermanus, The Village of the Seas. With Peter qualified as a Master Distiller they decided to live their passion and put their hand to distilling and craft brewing. They were always going to retire to Hermanus, but they first wanted to practice what Peter was taught ... And so, in their garage in Sandbaai, started the story of The Spirit of Hermanus™. A local enterprise in the alcohol beverage production business marketing a collection of concept based craft beers, spirits and spirit coolers.
