FOLK & GOODE
If Pigs could Fly ...
The Story of Messrs. Folk&Goode: In the late 1800's, bored of London life they sold their undertaking business with the view to a more adventurous life. Their healthy sailor clientele couldn't stop talking about South Africa's Hermanus 'the village of the sea' with its pure champagne air and natural beauty.
A high-five clinched a new partnership in adventure and off they went. Rumour suggests they inspired the Wright Brothers to take to the air in 1903 as they were the first humans to view Hermanus from its breathtakingly blue skies. Only to be followed by the modern-day hang-gliding fraternity. Curious? Join the adventure ...Ah!
